Blue Tongue Berries is a small scale 20 acre off-grid blueberry farm located in Seymour Victoria. We farm low yield premium quality organic blueberries and sell exclusively to the local community from our farmgate store. The entire property is completely off-grid and runs a on combination of solar and wind generated power. Our main farm building is constructed using rendered straw and has a highly efficient passive solar design. The farm is located on the highest hill in Seymour and overlooks the splendour of the Tallarook ranges and Goulburn valley.

THE
CANTINA
(& HACIENDA)
The Cantina is our commercial kitchen, licensed bar, dining room and farmgate store.
The Cantina combined with the Hacienda's function room and courtyard provide great flexibility for functions, workshops and events.
The Cantina is open to our farmstay accommodation guests for breakfast throughout the year.
The Cantina is also used to host private functions. We specialise in hosting intimate gatherings that are suited to small groups and create custom menus based on your preference.

Each summer to celebrate blueberry season our Cantina opens its doors to the public offering a unique dining experience featuring a special set menu. Tables are limited and bookings are essential. Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 12pm to 3pm each week from early December until we run out of blueberries.
Join us for Short Straw sessions, unique and intimate afternoons of live music in our stunning off-grid strawbale building the Hacienda.

Our off-grid farm has five farmstays located over several buildings:

The Hacienda, our bespoke strawbale building encompasses a passive solar design. The Hacienda contains identical rooms Hacienda 1 & Hacienda 2.
The Casita, our original cedar farmhouse overlooks the blueberries and contains Casita 3 & Casita 4, both are separate and contain a private lounge and various kitchen facilities.

The Shack, (farmstay 5) is our newly renovated blueberry pickers shack and is nestled amongst the trees near the dam and veggie garden. The Shack has its own off-grid power system, kitchen, bathroom and composting toilet.
